Shamelessly Plagiarizing since 1992

What Is This?

CCTU Wiki is trying to revive Wiki as a social community - call it a kind of "Community Billboard" - and since Ron and I have been having "robot problems" this site is "Open", yet you WILL need a password to edit and add stuff here.

What to do here

Well, make a Blog Entry of your own. Spend some time reading what others have written here. Add a page if you like. Whatever strikes your fancy.

New to Wiki?

You can learn a lot just by playing around with how page formatting is done. You can play in the SandBox, and try out whatever formatting you would like and you can learn the different page codes by viewing Wiki_style. HOWEVER, I would personally appreciate it if you ""DID NOT'' make changes to the Wiki Style's page - open it up for EDIT, view it to see how things are done, but please don't save changes there. Also note that the "box" feature of the Wiki Styles does not seem to be working - probably has to do with how the CSS Stylesheet for 'monobook' (THIS format) is set up, but I'm too lazy to track it down and fix it. Sorry!

OK, then, here's the password for you to edit pages with (all lower case)

This should also appear on the actual EDIT pages themselves in the lower right side, in case you forget.

And a last word...about Plagiarism

One visitor to this wiki will find this site VERY familiar - and I admit it, I liked the 'monobook' style - looks more like the 'for real' Wikipedia than the 2008 theme that comes generic with this software - but I have been lifting tricks and HTML code that I thought was useful or 'neat' from web sites since I built my first web pages (way back when there was a GEOCITIES, which, sadly, does not exist anymore) - so all I have to say on the subject of Plagiarism is...

  • Only Two Kinds of People in this World escape 'Justice' - those who are so rich and powerful they can hire enough lawyers to let them do whatever they want, even murder (i.e., O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake)....and those so poor they can afford NO lawyer and are at the whim of whatever bureaucrat wants to piss on them.
  • Guess which group I belong to!? Or to put it another way, for anyone interested in suing me - "you can't bleed a stone!"
